Bayali Introduces ABDULLAYEV

Bayali's artisan Adras

Adbullayev took over his family's know-how when he was 20 years old. After spending his summer holidays and after school time learning about ikat making, he fell in love with these ancient processes and continued the tradition.

"As it turned out, I followed their paths. I think this is destiny and is part of my DNA.

When Adbullayev talks about Ikat he describes it as falling in love with someone.
He has devoted himself to training young women to learn how to weave, teach young masters-to-become about Ikat designs and continuously ensured to protect the traditional techniques of Ikat making.
